WRONG way: When you DO NOT have a GAP / SPACE between your PAR-T / acrylic Rod and your putter head, then you need to readdress the Setup. If you don't SEE a GAP / SPACE between the markings (line/s or ball/s) on your Putter Head and the PAR-T / acrylic Rod, try the following:

Building this visual picture of ‘Railroad Tracks’ in your 'Mind's Eye' is important as you begin using your PAR-T / acrylic rod. Railroad Tracks are designed to be Parallel to each other and when you build this image in your 'Mind's Eye', you can carry this TOOL to the golf course with you.
You will start making making more putts because you'll have a 'Point of Reference' (RR Tracks), that will assist you to get the ball rolling on the intended Target Line.
Alignment to your intended Target Line is critical in improving your ability to become a better putter, that is what PAR-T / acrylic rod will provide you. Having the knowledge necessary to help you make any improvements is very important and is the only way to make any adjustments needed to improve your putting stroke.

SPEED of the Greens…not only do you have to get your stroke adjusted to make it more consistent. But the actual SPEED of the greens and how the greens are running determines many things that affect every putt you will be taking.
SPEED determines the amount of BREAK the ball will take – you might have to play your putt outside the hole 6″ to 8″ or maybe a foot, which is all determined by the SPEED of the greens. SPEED affects the amount of BREAK and pace that you have to stroke your putt in order to make it possible to see the ball go in the hole.
Making yourself aware of the SPEED on the practice green is very important and will most likely translate to the course. As you get yourself familiar with the SPEED of the greens, this will provide you that little edge you might need before you go out to play.
Take your ‘Normal’ putting stance at ADDRESS, do not change anything at all. Instead, as you are aligning the Par-t / acrylic rod that is attached to your putter, make sure that you are SEEing (in your 'Mind's Eye') the Railroad Tracks beginning to form.
The RR Tracks begin to form as the acrylic rod becomes parallel to the line/s, ball/s or markings on your Putter Head. Again, you are trying to ‘SEE’ your current putting stroke based on the movement of HOW your hands are moving your putter.
Then SEE if you need to make any changes, based on the movement you are SEEing of the acrylic Rod. Maybe you are taking the putter to FAR 'inside' and finishing 'outside'. Once you are able to 'SEE' your path ans what you might not be doing correctly. You then can make any adjustments necessary and make your stroke more consistent and reliable.
